You are warmly invited

Six weeks together · Currently free · Ten women maximum

Long before journals, there were stories
A familiar scent. A summer afternoon. A place that still lives in your senses. A ritual that brings you home to yourself. These moments are more than pleasant memories. They are visual joy postcards—small, vivid scenes that remind us where joy has lived all along.
help us find one true moment, return to it, and tell the story aloud.
Every week, a new doorway into memory
Each theme offers a gentle place to begin. Your story can be ordinary. It only needs to be yours.

The Joy Story Hour™ Method
A gentle prompt helps you return to one specific person, place, scent, experience, or ordinary moment that still carries warmth.
You tell one true story aloud in your own voice. There is no pressure to perform, impress, or shape it into something perfect.
The circle listens with presence and compassion—without fixing, comparing, coaching, or advising. Your story is received as a gift.
As one woman remembers joy, everyone receives something: a memory, a new perspective, hope, or a reminder of joy in her own life.
This is not a performance
We begin with a One-Minute Compassion Pause. Then each woman has up to five uninterrupted minutes to share one story. No critique. No coaching. No competing for the most dramatic moment. Just honest stories, spoken from the heart and held with care.

Meet your host
Deronda has always loved the way stories carry us—back to the people who shaped us, across cultures and generations, and into moments we did not realize were still alive inside us. As a storyteller, Joy Story Collector, and lifelong student of human connection, she has seen that our truest stories do not need to be polished or enlarged. They only need a voice and someone willing to listen.
Her curiosity about joy led her deeper into the relationship between memory, the spoken voice, compassionate listening, and the nervous system. She began to recognize that when we return to a specific joyful memory and tell it aloud, we do more than recall an event. We reconnect with the experience in our bodies and minds—and allow the joy in one woman’s story to awaken something in another.
Joy Story Hour™ grew from that discovery. Deronda created it as a warm, intimate circle where women can practice the deeply human acts of remembering, speaking from the heart, listening with compassion, and letting joy travel from one life into another.
Your story does not have to be extraordinary
Come bring one memory, one voice, and your whole self. We will meet you in the circle.
